In order to license tracks from The Sound, LLC music library please follow the instructions given with in this section. Songs are in MP3 format. Anyone wanting wave files of songs must request it. This can be done by following the instructions for licensing music from this site.
If your project is being broadcast then you will be able to download and use the music with no up front cost. You only need to file a cue sheet (view cue sheet as html) with the appropriate Performing Rights Organization along with filling out the brief preliminary cue form on the page of the track you want to use. This is a quick heads up on what, where and how selections are being used.
There is a "wave file" email request link on each page as well. If you have a credit roll in your production, please credit the composer and/or writer.
*Note: BMI & ASCAP have teamed up to create RapidCue Online Cue-Sheet Technology. This sign up service will ensure that only complete and correct cue sheets are submitted. Check the link for inquiries about signing up.
If your project isn't being broadcast then purchase a licence using the non-broadcast link at the bottom of the page of the track you want to license.
It's that simple. The legal licence conditions are below.
